morethantheweight:

here is the recipe for the broccoli&spinach tart that i have baking in the oven just atm :) ! maah, i’m so hungry i can’t wait :) sorry the quality of the pictures! i took them with my webcam holding my computer in weird positions. and the lighting sucks. but here you go:

Ingredients crust:

(you can be lazy like me and buy a wholewheat tart crust that you only need to add water to. there are actually good healthy ones out there)

or:

  • 3 cups of whole wheat flour.
  • 1 egg.
  • 1/3 cup of water.
  • salt&pepper if wanted.

filling:

  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup of (i used 1,5%) cottage cheese.
  • two big handfuls of fresh spinach.
  • broccoli.
  • approx. 10 cherry tomatoes.
  • ½ big onion.
  • 3 cloves of garlic.
  • salt&pepper.

1 handful grated mozzarella cheese.

1) preheat oven at 200C - even out dough in tart/flan dish - prick little holes in crust dough with fork - pre-bake pie crust 10 minutes.

2) slice onion and garlic as finely as wanted - saute with fresh spinach.

3) cut broccoli and tomatoes. put on top of pie crust. save some tomato halves for later.

4) mix in the sauteed onion, garlic and spinach.

5) in a bowl whisk eggs and add cottage cheese. even out on top of veggies in pie crust.

6) add the grated mozzarella cheese, some pepper and the last of the tomato halves.

7) bake in oven for 30-40 minutes.

8) ENJOY! <3

- you can change all the filling in the recipe to whatever you prefer :) also if you don’t like cottage cheese just use another egg (: everything is optional. mushrooms are good in there too! i just didn’t have any :)

About

Hello! Welcome to the ‘Wifey Material Diary’!
I’m a 21 year old middle-eastern lady, currently studying to be a petroleum engineer.
I cannot reveal my real name, because it’s rare and I believe it could be found via search engines easily, but! You can call me Aria :)
The reason why I don’t want to be recognized is because I wanted this diary (or blog) to stay private and accessible only by me, but then I thought: “Why not share it with other girls?”
If you liked the title of this blog or somehow felt relatable to you, then know that I am far, far away from being a wifey material. I started this blog is because engineering took a huge portion of my life, and I always found a good enough excuse to keep myself busy away from extra-curricular activities, hobbies and skills.
The fact that my major is mostly dominated by men, made me somehow urge to act tough (man-up) and work very hard to prove that I am capable of surviving through this career path. Due to that, I almost forgot about the other things I want to do in life, in other words, the non-academic stuff I always wanted to learn.
I love food, tea-parties and sets, decoration and anything artistic! I am trying my best to learn how to cook, draw + paint and I am interested in handcraft, nutrition and web design as well.
I’m single :D I do not fancy marriage to be honest, but I love and appreciate housewives. I just love their dedication and strongly believe they work as hard as those who have jobs.
